- A special issue of Mine Tech. (in-house technical magazine of CMPDI) on CBM was published in 2011, which contains accomplishments & activities being carried out by the Clearinghouse.
- Publication of a technical book in Hindi language
CMPDI has published a technical book on CBM in Hindi language titled “कोल बेड मीथेन: एक स्वच्छ उर्जा श्रोत” - "Coal Bed Methane: A Clean Energy Source” authored by Sri A.K. Singh, CMD, CMPDI, Sri B.N. Prasad, GM (CBM) and Sri A.V. Sahay, GM(Geology) in September 2011.The book aims at creating general awareness about CBM for common masses and it is the first book in Hindi in this field of CBM/CMM in the country. It was also awarded second prize under Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Award.
